An international presenter from Ukraine explained about rural tourism in pre-war Ukraine. According to his explanation, rural tourism is considered a priority type of tourism in Ukraine. During the last decade, rural tourism has shown a wide spectrum of forms and regional development. The most popular tourism activities include short-term and long-term recreation in private homes and cottages, active tourism (alpine skiing, hiking, and boating), cultural (ethnographic) tourism, and nature (ecological) tourism. Forms of rural tourism as village and farm-based agro-tourism, gastro-tourism with wine and cheese routes and participation in gastro festivals. Legal forms in Ukraine: individual farms, entrepreneurs, rural tourism clusters — non-governmental organizations, etc.


In this modern era, visiting villages is certainly one of the attractive tourist destinations. This of course has a variety of reasons, starting from the panoramic views that are still natural, the air and water that are fresh and clean, to the atmosphere that is so calming.


Ukraine is a country that has many villages which are quite popular among tourists. Villages in this country are also able to present a variety of successful attractions that spoil the eye.


For example, the village of Kvasy. Kvasy is a village surrounded by high mountains, so it is no doubt that it has natural views that can spoil the eye. Apart from that, another enjoyment is that residents can breathe clean and fresh air. The village is also located away from the city so it is quiet and away from the noise.


There is also the village of Kolochava which is one of the prettiest villages and also the longest village in Ukraine. The length of this village reaches 15 km. There are about ten museums, mineral springs, and incredible mountain views. Apart from its various successful attractions that amaze, its calm and peaceful atmosphere makes it attract many visitors to spend their vacation time here.


The village of Lazeshchyna is no less interesting. Lazeshchyna is one of the attractive villages for nature lovers. This village is very green when summer comes. Meanwhile, this village becomes a paradise for ski lovers in winter. It doesn't stop there, this village also has the Church of the Transfiguration which is the main attraction for tourists. This church was built in 1780.


Next there is also the village of Chervone. This village is a village located in the Zhytomyr region. The village was founded in 1624 by the governor of Brest-Lithuania named Yan Tishkovich. This village has the magnificent Tereshchenko Castle. Surrounding the castle are beautiful gardens and a stunning lake.


The above material was presented by a presenter from Ukraine in an international webinar held by STEKOM University in collaboration with Universities from Mexico, Ukraine, Ethiopia and various other parties. The title of the presentation brought by the presenter from Mexico was "Get to know the beauty of diverse cultures between countries". The presenter's name is Natalia Venherska who is an academic with the academic position of associate professor and PhD academic degree in economics at the Zaporizhzhia National University's National Economics Department.


This international webinar activity is part of the implementation of STEKOM University's commitment to increase various international activities.
