There are many benefits that can be obtained if green engineering is implemented properly. The benefits of green engineering in general can be listed as follows:
- Improving business practices and increasing employment
Green engineers can visit your facility, identify problematic or inefficient operations and correct them. This process can improve business practices by eliminating inappropriate production methods and helping you comply with federal or state environmental regulations. Improved manufacturing or shipping processes can also improve the quality of your product and lead to more sales. The follow-up impact of a business that continues to grow is employment which will also increase. And actually there are many more other follow-up impacts as well.
- Minimizing energy or production waste
Inefficient operations can cost a company money, but a friendly environmentalist can help solve this problem. They identify where you are wasting energy or production efficiency, identify potential solutions, install innovative methods, and provide maintenance for your manufacturing machines. Green engineers can install alternative energy sources, reduce your production steps, increase sustainability by identifying better construction materials, and reduce your energy bills.

The character of creative and innovative green engineering is very relevant to be developed in rural areas where facilities are generally more limited. So it will be very relevant to be developed in rural areas.
- Reduction of energy scarcity (expansion of rural electrification capabilities)
Still related to rural areas where there are generally fewer facilities, engineered green technology will always be the right answer for problems that arise in rural areas. Remote rural electrification will be more relevant to the use of green engineering that does not depend on the installation of large-scale power grids.
The STEKOM University international webinar presenter who delivered the material was Kefale Kebie Bishaw who has an M.Sc academic degree in Structural Engineering. He is also a lecturer and researcher at Debre Tabor University which is located in the city of Debre Tabor, Country of Ethiopia. STEKOM University has collaborated with the University several times. This time the international activity being held was an international webinar entitled "Advantage of Green Engineering".
The title of the presentation delivered by Mr. Kefale was "Advantage of Green Engineering / Technology". At the beginning of his presentation, Mr. Kefale explained the outline of his presentation. The outline presented by Mr. Kefale included the following points:

- Green Engineering Category,
- Green Engineering Push Factor Pen,
- Benefits and Some Limitations,
- Conclusions and recommendations.
The webinar activity is part of the implementation of STEKOM University's commitment to increase various international activities in order to realize the vision to become an international-class university. Various international activities carried out by STEKOM University continue from year to year. There are international activities that are sustainable and there are also some international activities that are not sustainable.
