The revolution of Automatic Guided Vehicles (AGVs) in the Automotive Industry has become a necessity for today's society. As autonomous technologies for self-driving cars are growing, self-driving artificial intelligence (AI) smart vehicles are also growing in popularity in the auto manufacturing industry. Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) help automate tasks such as moving inventory or materials across the factory floor and performing continuous operations without stopping. AGVs equipped with advanced sensors such as 360° cameras and LIDAR significantly help avoid collisions and ensure safety for workers and products being transported. Some of its notable uses include: eliminating time-consuming manual processes in material movement, avoiding fatigue and fatigue from repetitive tasks in production environments, reducing risks when working with heavy machinery and hazardous materials.

AGVs technology has opened the door for a revolution in the world of automotive manufacturing. As autonomous technology advances, AGVs combine artificial intelligence with industrial vehicles to create efficient and sophisticated solutions for managing factories. One of the main advantages of AGVs is their ability to work non-stop, keeping production lines running even in the midst of 24 hour operations. By using AGV, automotive companies can improve their production productivity and efficiency, reduce operational costs, and increase better use of resources.

One feature of the various AGVs is their ability to avoid collisions and ensure safety in production environments. Equipped with advanced sensors such as 360° cameras and LIDAR, AGV can quickly detect and avoid surrounding obstacles. This is very important to prevent incidents that could harm workers and the goods being moved. In the automotive industry where the movement of heavy and hazardous materials is involved, this technology helps reduce the risk of injury and environmental damage.

In addition, the use of AGV also helps with fatigue and injury issues associated with repetitive tasks in a production environment. Workers are often involved in monotonous activities such as moving materials from one place to another. With AGVs, these tasks can be automated, freeing workers to focus on more complex and creative tasks that require human expertise.

In order to face increasingly fierce global competition, the automotive industry needs to adopt the latest technology to remain efficient and innovative. The use of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) helps automotive companies to achieve this goal by automating critical processes in production, increasing work safety and reducing risks. By continuously developing and integrating these technologies, the future of automotive manufacturing will be refined with boundless efficiency, safety and advancement.

The above material was delivered by a presenter from Ukraine in an international webinar held by STEKOM University in collaboration with Kuala Lumpur University from Malaysia and Ukraine. The presenter's name is Omelianenko Vitalii. He is a Doctor of Economics as well as Associate Professor and head of the center for technology projects at Summy Makarenko State University. The international webinar was held on May 23 2023 which was hosted by Ms. Novita. The media used in the international seminar is zoom and broadcast directly to Youtube. The event went very well and was quite lively, marked by the many participants who took part and the number of questions asked after the presenters finished delivering their presentations.

This international webinar activity is part of the implementation of STEKOM University's commitment to increase various international activities. This was done in order to realize the vision to become an international-class university. Various international activities carried out by STEKOM University continue from year to year. There are international activities that are sustainable and there are also some international activities that are not sustainable. All types of activities are accommodated internationally and regulated by the International department of STEKOM University.
