Mr. Tsotne from Georgia University of Business and Technology in a guest lecture on 07 June 2022 at STEKOM University further explained about the example of the stacked trust model that exists in Georgia. The topmost pile of trust is belief in an idea. The pile of trust underneath is trust in the platform or company. And the lowest pile of trust is trust in individuals or users of the company's products.

This activity is part of the implementation of STEKOM University's commitment to increase various international activities in order to realize the vision to become an international class university. Various international activities carried out by STEKOM University continue from year to year. There are international activities that are sustainable and there are also some international activities that are not sustainable. All types of international activities are accommodated and regulated by the International department of STEKOM University.

An example of digital trust formation that exists in Georgia based on Mr. Tsotne's explanation of trust in ideas is the massive access and use of digital technology in Georgian society. The majority of Georgian people today have used digital platforms for their various purposes. Doubts about the validation and reputation of a digital platform began to erode since the emergence of many trusted digital platforms to help carry out various business needs in Georgian society.

The next explanation from Mr. Tsotne is about examples of trust in digital platforms or companies in Georgia. This trust in Georgia is seen by the large number of people involved in digital business services. There are so many digital platforms that have sprung up, making each platform challenged to be more competitive. People have many choices for the various digital platforms available. If a platform does not present good integrity to its digital services, then people will naturally leave it. In this way, each platform will compete to provide services with integrity in terms of security, reliability, and guarantee the availability of access for the community.

The last example that Mr. Tsotne describes about digital trust in Georgia is about the trust in individuals or users of digital businesses. An example of individual digital trust in Georgia that Mr. Tsotne explained is the formation of Georgian people's trust in other users both in running a business that is carried out through available digital services. In simple terms, digital trust can be defined as the trust that a person has in an organization's ability to keep their digital data secure and handle it with integrity and accountability.

Digital trust is seen as critical to the long-term success of organizations in a connected world. Trust is everything – misusing, losing, or exposing people's personal data and you lose their trust and business, followed by your revenue, market share and reputation.

Security issues are an important key in today's digital industry. Cybersecurity has grown around us as the need to protect data, devices, networks and processes in the digital world has grown. For the industry, and each individual vendor within it, digital trust essentially means two things: the need to build trust in their own digital operations, and then to ensure they can apply that digital trust to their customers. To be a trusted organization that can help others in building trust.

As organizations become more digital and begin to understand and harness the value of data, protection evolves into information security, supported by a business-savvy security team and Chief Information Security Officers (CISO). Today, connectivity is spread and embedded, security is about trust and integrity, and the role of the CISO is to build and maintain digital trust across the business. To achieve this, they need a security partner who can provide reliable protection technology and superior data privacy and security, which can help them manage risk and reduce the impact of cyberthreats.
