ICT affects the developing world of industry, economy, education, and so on. ICT also affects career fields that change from year to year. In this era of industry 4.0, emerging careers refer to those who have good technical skills. Unfortunately, it also means that some careers will be lost or replaced by the role of ICT.
This ICT-influenced career development issue became the theme of an international webinar with South Florida University, Ishinomaki Senshu University, ATIC, and PP IGVIM. This webinar was held online on March 12, 2021, and was opened directly by the Chancellor of STEKOM University.
"Right now, managers make decisions through data," said Professor Khassik Duta. "In the past, they made decisions through intuition or based on experience," he added. Furthermore, through data, companies can make decisions whether to find new workers or buy machines to increase company profits.
With the development of ICT, human life will be easier, because in essence technology was created to make life easier.
