In the field of Ukrainian prosthesis startups, Esper Bionics has achieved the best innovation rating. Esper bionics is a pioneering engineering company focused on mechatronics, ai and iot technologies for human augmentation. Our first products are the Esper Hand, a bionic self-learning hand prosthesis, Esper Control, a wearable non-invasive brain-computer interface, and the Esper Platform, a cloud-based software solution for customizing individual wearable device controls.

Those at Esper believe that human capacities and abilities are often underestimated. They aim to make that happen by building technologies that can eradicate disease, give humans extra abilities, and ultimately fulfill and extend the lives of billions of people around the world. By doing this, we aim to make a significant contribution to the evolution of a new breed — the human enhancement made possible by technology.

They believe that human evolution supported by technology will create a better future with freedom of self-actualization, diversity of all kinds, and all people living long and happy lives. They wanted Esper Bionics to be a proactive participant in building it, and our first step was to improve the prosthetics industry.

The company's history begins with medical doctor and engineer Dima Gazda, CEO and co-founder at Esper, having the idea that people can create thousands of years of life for others, directly or indirectly. This could be anyone: a doctor prolonging a patient's life, an accountant working for a company fighting air pollution, or a software developer building apps for better posture or sleep. In the end, their actions make people live longer.

Searching for his own way of moving the needle, Dima discovers that electronic implants have the greatest potential for maximum impact — to create billions of years' worth of life for people around the world. Through in-depth research in various fields, he identified the prosthetics industry as the perfect environment and ecosystem for the emergence of electronic implants. Electronic implants require large wearable devices for charging, data collection, and processing — and prostheses are ideal for that, with millions of users worldwide. So by helping these millions of people, by bringing in devices with the right architecture, we can open up the technology stack needed for electronic implants and, in that way, help billions of people in the future. With this in mind and heart, Dima co-founded Esper* Bionics as a five-member technology startup in 2019. Today, Dima is a twenty-person award-winning engineering company based in New York, developing human enhancement tools for the future a brighter one for mankind.

The presenter who delivered the material was Mrs. Iryna Yosenova. Mrs. Iryna is a lecturer at State Tax University, Ukraine. His academic degree is a PhD in information technology. The academic and professional backgrounds of the resource persons are very relevant for academics to follow, both at STEKOM University and the general public. The reason was that the informant had an academic degree in information technology, which was in line with the majors at STEKOM University. The general public is also very willing to listen to this material, because the topic he is presenting is about packaging start-ups in the IT sector. Where, the startup world is currently a business trend that has sprung up a lot and many have also experienced great success.

The webinar activity is part of the implementation of STEKOM University's commitment to increase various international activities in order to realize the vision to become an international-class university. Various international activities carried out by STEKOM University continue from year to year. There are international activities that are sustainable and there are also some international activities that are not sustainable. All types of international activities are accommodated and regulated by the International department of STEKOM University.
