Indonesian academics explain why Bali is famous abroad in an international webinar. Kuta Beach is a tourist spot located in Kuta district, south of Denpasar City, Bali, Indonesia. This area has become a tourist destination for foreign tourists and a mainstay tourist attraction on the island of Bali since the early 1970s.


Kuta Beach which is one of the busiest beach resort destinations in Bali. Located about 6 km north of Ngurah Rai International Airport, this beach has been a tourist destination for foreign tourists since the early 1970s. Kuta Beach is often used as a place to watch the sunset because of its familiar beauty.


Kuta Beach was once a small, sleepy village on the road from Denpasar to the Bukit Peninsula and served as a trading port for local produce. A trader from Denmark named Mads Lange in the 19th century came to Bali and built a trade in Kuta.


Then Hugh Mahbett wrote a book entitled "Praise to Kuta" which contained an invitation to the public to establish tourist accommodation facilities. Then the book inspired many people so that many inns, entertainment venues, shopping centers and restaurants were built.


Kuta Beach is one of the first favorite beaches discovered by tourists. As the sun begins to set, Kuta Beach will come alive because you can find several restaurants, nightclubs and bars along Jalan Pantai Kuta and Jalan Kartika Plaza. There are many activities you can do, from swimming, surfing, sunbathing while enjoying a massage on the beach. Not only that, you can also decorate your body by making tattoos from mobile tattoo services, coloring your nails, to hair braids.


Don't worry about food, there are many restaurants from cheap to luxurious prices, such as Warung Mami, Bali Buda, Warung Made and the most popular in Kuta Beach is Hardrock Cafe. You can eat local to international food, just adjust to your taste.


Shopaholics can also indulge in a fun activity. Explore some of the big malls like Discovery Shopping Mall across from Waterbom Bali and Kuta Beachwalk on the main beach of Jalan Pantai Kuta. If you want to shop at economical prices, you can visit the stalls that sell a variety of attractive souvenirs.


The best time to visit Kuta Beach is in the morning. You can still breathe fresh air because the beach is still empty of visitors and the air is still neutral and good. Wandering around while walking on the coast or cycling, a good way to enjoy the fresh air at Kuta Beach.


Kuta Beach is indeed suitable to be used as a place to witness the phenomenon of the sunset or sunset. Make sure you come here before 5 pm so you won't be hindered by traffic jams and you can immediately capture and take the best sunset pictures at Kuta Beach later.
