In
addition to the delicious-looking Ukrainian food that Yuliia had
presented in her previous presentation, she also talked about
traditional drinks in Ukraine. Famous Ukrainian drinks are Uzvar
(drink, cooked with dried fruits and berries), Kysil, Zakarpattya
wine and Lviv coffee.
Yuliia's explanation of
Ukrainian food and drink comes with dessert. Ukrainians prepare
delicious desserts, namely cheesecake (syrnyk), Kyiv cake, poppy cake
(makivnyk), honey cake (medivnyk), and many others. “You have to
try Ukrainian cuisine on your vacation to Ukraine”, says
Yuliia.
About interesting places in Ukraine, according to
Yuliia's explanation, there are seven UNESCO world heritage sites in
Ukraine. Among the UNESCO world heritage sites include the
Saint-Sophia Cathedral of Kyiv and the historic center of Lviv, the
unique wooden church of the Carpathians and the beech forest that
surrounds it, etc. There is also Lego City which is Comfort Town, a
suburb of Kyiv. The city was created to brighten up the gray former
Soviet buildings of the 1950s and 1960s. Now, the buildings are
painted in bright yellow, green and orange and pink.
Yuliana's
presentation of interesting places in Ukraine continued with a story
about the world's deepest metro station in Ukraine. The name of the
station is Arsenalna which is located along the
Sviatoshynsko-Brovarska railway line in Kyiv city. This station is
the deepest metro station in the world with a height of 105.5 meters
underground. That depth will fit if the entire Statue of Liberty is
perfectly inserted into it and even has 12 meters left.
The
next site that Yuliia told was about the tunnel of love. A site that
is sure to appeal to teenagers. This tunnel is a semi-abandoned
railway line in Klaven. This tunnel is listed as the most romantic
place in the world which has been published in various international
publications. According to local legend, a couple who visits the
place will have their wish granted.
Yuliia's next
presentation is still related to interesting sites in Ukraine. This
time about natural sites. That is about Mount Hoverla. The mountain
with a height of 2061 m makes Mount Hoverla the highest mountain in
Ukraine. Mount Hoverla is part of the Carpathian mountains. Since the
late 19th century, Mount Hoverla has been a popular tourist
attraction. Over the years the mountain gained popularity as a site
for cisco extreme spoits.
Another natural site that
is no less interesting in Ukraine that is no less interesting than
the natural site that Yuliia has previously presented is the pink
lake site. A unique and beautiful lake that can be explored in
Ukraine. There are many beauties and wonders of beautiful and pink
lakes located around Ukraine. Where each place has its own story, as
well as its own characteristics. However, one thing that they have in
common is that they all contain a unique type of algae that makes
their pink color and high salt content which contributes to the
healing properties of this body of water.
The presentation
about the heritage sites and natural sites of Yuliaa has ended. The
next presentation continued on traditional Ukrainian music. Yuliia's
explanation this time is about the longest wind instrument in the
world. The name of the instrument is trembita. Ukrainian trembita is
the longest wind instrument in the world. It is recorded in the
Guinness Book of Records. Trembita, which is a wooden trumpet with a
diameter of about 30 mm, with a length between 2.5 and 8 meters.
An
explanation of interesting sites in Ukraine is followed by an
explanation of interesting cities in Ukraine. The first city that is
described in this presentation slide is Lviv. In Yuliia's
explanation, everyone who has been to Lviv will enjoy the aroma of
coffee and chocolate, the beautiful cobblestone streets, the unique
architectural masterpieces, and the unique breakfast place. People
who come here for the romance, old town vibes and historical sights.
The next city that is told is the city of Ternopil. Ternopil is one
of the largest cities in western Ukraine, located in its heart. It is
a quiet city, very beautiful, very comfortable and quiet. You can
enjoy the sunset on the pond embankment and stroll through the city
center.
At the end of her presentation, Yuliia
expressed her sadness that the Russian invasion of Ukraine had
damaged many things. Yulia displays pictures that show a lot of
damage, both buildings or sites that were very severe as a result of
the Russian invasion. He also described the number of killings of
Ukrainians during the Russian invasion. His sadness was so deep, he
even cried in front of the zoom camera.
