AI assistant applications is a mobile applications or software programs that utilize artificial intelligence (AI) technology to provide various services and assist users in various tasks. These apps are designed to understand natural language, process user requests, and provide intelligent responses or perform certain actions.

Some popular AI assistant apps include:

- Siri: Siri is an AI-powered virtual assistant developed by Apple. It is available on Apple devices such as iPhone, iPad and Mac computers. Siri can perform tasks such as setting reminders, sending messages, making calls, providing information, and controlling smart home devices.

- Google Assistant: Google Assistant is an AI-powered virtual assistant developed by Google. It is available on Android devices as well as iOS devices. Google Assistant can answer questions, provide recommendations, set reminders, control smart devices, and perform various tasks using voice commands.

- Amazon Alexa: Alexa is an AI-powered virtual assistant developed by Amazon. It's integrated into Amazon Echo devices and other smart home devices. Alexa can perform tasks such as playing music, providing weather updates, ordering products, controlling smart home devices and answering questions.

- Microsoft Cortana: Cortana is an AI-powered virtual assistant developed by Microsoft. It is available on Windows devices, including Windows 10, as well as Android and iOS devices. Cortana can help with tasks like scheduling appointments, sending emails, making recommendations, and performing web searches.

- Bixby: Bixby is an AI-powered virtual assistant developed by Samsung. It is available on Samsung smartphones, smart TVs and other Samsung devices. Bixby can perform tasks such as setting reminders, sending messages, launching apps, and managing device settings.

- Photomath is a popular mobile application that leverages artificial intelligence (AI) and optical character recognition (OCR) technologies to solve mathematical equations and provide step-by-step solutions. It is designed to help students and individuals who may need help with math problems.

These AI assistant apps are constantly evolving and improving, with new features and capabilities being added over time. They aim to make users' lives easier by providing help, information and performing personalized tasks through voice commands or text input.


However, there is an opinion that they will destroy the learning process. Even in some countries, this AI assistant application is prohibited for use.


The material above was delivered by a presenter from Ukraine in an International Visiting Lecturer held by STEKOM University in collaboration with Universities from Ukraine. The presenter's name is Oleksii Panasenko. He is Lecturer at Vinnitsia State Pedagogical University (Ukraine), Ph.D. in Mathematics. He is also a data scientist at NestLogic Inc. His interest in science is in mathematics: fractal analysis. Meanwhile, her interest in teaching is working with mathematically gifted students; Math Olympiad. In addition he has an interest in all things related to machine learning, data science, AI. The time for carrying out the lecture visitation is on May 12 2023 with an initial remark by Dr. Joseph Teguh Santoso who is the chancellor of STEKOM university and guided by Mrs. Novita.


This international webinar activity is part of the implementation of STEKOM University's commitment to increase various international activities. There are international activities that are sustainable and there are also some international activities that are not sustainable. All types of activities are accommodated internationally and regulated by the International department of STEKOM University.
