The international webinar "culture exchange" held by STEKOM University on the second day continues. Speakers from various universities around the world take turns giving interesting explanations about the pop traditions of their respective countries. Various interesting things continue to be presented from various speakers who get the opportunity. The next interesting speaker was gRavael Shalom Benjinol who is a student from Putra Malaysia University Bintulu.


Malaysian popular music, sometimes called Malaysian pop (Malay: Pop Malaysia) or M-pop for short, refers to a form of popular music in Malaysia. Although popular music in various languages ​​such as Mandopop is popular and has been produced in Malaysia, Malaysian pop refers to music recorded mainly in Malay in Malaysia. Malaysian Pop covers a wide range of music genres, such as pop, rock, Ballad, Malaysian Folk Music, hip hop, electronic, and R&B music.

At the beginning of his presentation, Ravael talked about a famous Malaysian song. Among them is "Berdiri di Mata Dunia" (Malay: "Berdiri di Mata Dunia") is a song recorded and performed by Malaysian singer and Queen Rock, Ella. The song was composed by Wah Idris and American composer David Gates with lyrics written by Habsah Hassan. It is best known when it was chosen as the theme song for the 1998 Commonwealth Games, which Malaysia was hosting at that time. Ella is the only Malaysian artist chosen to be the singer for the theme song and also one of her flagship songs.


The famous malaysia film presented by Ravael is mat luster. Mat Kilau: Kebangkitan Pahlawan is an epic biographical film about history released in Malaysia in 2022 directed by Syamsul Yusof with a script by Syamsul and Shahruddin Mt Dali and produced by Studio Kembara. Starring Adi Putra as the main character, the film is inspired by the character Malaysian historical epic, Mat Kilau. Tells the story of Mat Kilau with his father, Tok Gajah and his friends who fought hard against the British occupation at one time. Beto Kusyairy, Fattah Amin, Yayan Ruhian and Johan As'ari as supporting actors.


Syamsul first came up with the idea to direct this film in 2017 after receiving an offer from Studio Kembara to produce the film after the previous director resigned. Filming took place in Perak, Pahang, Melaka and Selangor over 100 days with a construction cost of RM8 million. The film was screened in theaters nationwide, Singapore and Brunei on 23 June 2022. Mat Kilau received overwhelmingly positive and encouraging reviews from audiences and film critics and grossed the highest grossing RM71 million in just one month of screening, making it one of the top films with the highest collection of local films in Malaysia for 2022 at RM80 million, surpassing film collections. Munafik 2 (2018), also directed by Syamsul who holds the record for the highest film collection (RM48 million) for 4 years. This film also invited a lot of criticism and controversy during its screening.


Filming was conducted on April 1, 2018 with Production Fund funds of RM1.5 million and Marketing Fund of RM300,000 allocated by FINAS, while the rest came from Studio Kembara. According to Syamsul, the production team has taken the time to build a pier, a British base and a mine as well as a market location, in a grazing area on the banks of the Perak River in Kampung Teluk Bakong, Lambor Kanan, Bota, Perak. He explained: "We estimated the shoot would take two months and involve almost 500 extras and I can say that this film is the greatest work I have ever directed.".


In August, filming was halted due to internal problems before resuming in October. In June 2020 it was reported that shooting for the film was nearing completion, and in February 2021 the film was reported to be completed, but the release had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak that hit Malaysia.


On 15 May 2022, the actual cost to complete the film was revealed to have cost RM8 million. The Mat Kilau film was filmed over 100 days with some of it being shot in Perak and several other locations including Pahang, Melaka and Selangor.


The famous Malaysian actors presented by Ravael include Miclehe Yeoh. Tan Sri Dato' Seri Michelle Yeoh Choo-Kheng was born 6 August 1962 in Ipoh, Malaysia. She is a Malaysian actress and dancer who is best known for her roles in the Hong Kong action films that brought her popularity in the early 1990s. Born in Ipoh, Malaysia, she was selected by People as one of the "50 Most Beautiful Women in the World" in 1997.

She is known in the western world for her roles in the 1997 James Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies, as Wai Lin, and the Chinese-language martial arts film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, for which she was nominated for a BAFTA Award for Best Actress in 2000. In 2008, film criticism website Rotten Tomatoes ranked him as "the greatest action heroine of all time". In 2009, she was listed by People - as the only Asian actress - as one of the "35 All-Time Screen Beauties".


She is credited as Michelle Khan in several of her early films. The nickname was chosen by D&B studio who thought that it would sell more to international and western audiences. Yeoh then uses only his real name.
