The seminar organized by STEKOM University entitled "Think Fast, Talk Smart: Communication Techniques for Public Speaking" took place on Monday, September 18, 2023, from 14.00 - 16.00 WIB. The event was part of a series of seminars featuring prominent speakers in the fields of communication and social psychology.

The first speaker to speak at the seminar was Adgezal Mammadov, a Senior Lecturer in Political Science, Psychology and Social Science from WCU, Azerbaijan. In his presentation, Adgezal Mammadov introduced himself and provided information about his works, which include the field of political psychology and the psychological character of political leaders.

He explained that an understanding of a person's psychological character is an important tool in understanding social, political, and economic phenomena. History has proven that subjective factors hidden in an individual's values, education, and character play a major role in historical movements.

Adgezal Mammadov also highlighted the importance of understanding the psychology of political leaders of different levels, as this can help in identifying their ability to influence the foreign policy of the country they represent.

He also discussed several methods for creating a psychological picture of political leaders, including character analysis, socio-psychological analysis, and psycholinguistic analysis. By combining these various factors, research can forecast the behavior of political leaders and their impact on everyday politics in history, space, and time.

In addition, Adgezal Mammadov underlines the importance of factors such as geographical origin, culture, and education in shaping a person's character. These factors can play a role in shaping the mindset and actions of political leaders. In addition, environmental influences, social status and social situations also have a significant impact in shaping an individual's character and actions.

He ended his presentation by saying that research on the psychological character of political leaders is important, and only by considering these various factors can we predict the behavior of political leaders and their influence in the history and politics of their countries.

The seminar will be followed by presentations from other speakers, such as Sheena from Head of Communication Department HELP, Malaysia, Liashenko Rostyslav PhD from CUSU, Ukraine, and Aftuqa Sholikatur Rohmania, M.M from Head of Management Department STEKOM, Indonesia.
