This international webinar discusses the future of hybrid work models and remote work.FuturemodelHybrid work and remote work involve the use of powerful technologies, such as fast internet connectivity, virtual collaboration tools, cloud computing and artificial intelligence. This can indeed result in cost savings, increased employee efficiency and productivity, as well as more effective recruitment. However, on the other hand, challenges such as burnout, disruption of work-life balance and lack of collaborative innovation must be overcome through self-discipline, boundary setting and leadership changes.

In the seminar it was stated thatmodelRemote work and distance learning have become important since the COVID-19 pandemic. As is known, the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way we learn, work and interact. Therefore, in facing this situation we need to adapt from face-to-face learning to online learning. Choosing the right learning tools and environment as well as overcoming technical challenges is the key to success in learning and working remotely. Learning and working remotely certainly has its own advantages and disadvantages. The advantage is that it can increase efficiency andflexibility in time and locationand can increase globalization opportunities. But apparentlywork remotelyIt also has its weaknessespose physical and social health problems as well as technical challenges.

Indirect impacts of learning and working remotelywhat also attracts attention ischange in workplace preferences from office to home or vice versa. On the one hand, the majority of students prefer to study at home, while business people tend to prefer working in the office. Therefore, one must be able to maintain a balance between working from home or office in all cases and identify as well find solutions to problems that may occur, including maintaining the effectiveness of the situation for workers, employers and education. Apart from that, in distance learning there are also several teaching challenges faced, including maintaining student involvement, finding special tricks to attract attention and motivating students to learn new topics.

It cannot be denied that progressTechnology can increase work productivity, but what is no less important is maintaining physical health and social interaction in hybrid and remote work models. Because as is known, nowadays many people prefer to sit in front of a computer just to do everything online. So it is important to pay attention to physical health when working online and avoid a less active lifestyle. Because the impact of technology on social interactions and social life is increasingly isolating in the remote work model.

Inthis seminarAlsoprovides important insight into howhow to achieve success in hybrid and remote work models. Today's technology has shaped the future of hybrid and remote work models with robust technology infrastructure, fast internet connectivity and essential virtual collaboration tools. Fast internet connectivity and 4G and 5G technology play an important role in supporting the success of hybrid and remote work models. Apart from that, virtual collaboration tools such as Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams also facilitate communication and collaboration without location restrictions. Another supporting technology, namely cloud computing, isan information system that allows easy access to resource components such as servers, applications and databases via the internet network.Cloud computingplays an important role in file sharing and collaboration in a remote work environment. Next is artificial intelligence and virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) which provide new opportunities to improve productivity and learning experiences.VR and AR are used for employee training, production simulation and product design. The use of VR and AR has been proven to helpincreasing efficiency and reducing costs in the long term.

Hybrid and remote work models can provide benefits in cost savings, increased employee efficiency and productivity, as well as effective recruitment tools. Cost savings are a key benefit of the hybrid work model, both for employees and companies. Then increasing employee efficiency and productivity is a positive impact of implementing hybrid and remote work models. Hybrid and remote work models also enable effective recruitment without geographic limitations. However, despite all the benefits gained from the hybrid work model, it turns out that the hybrid work model also raises challenges such as fatigue and disruption of the balance between work and personal life. The challenges of fatigue and impaired balance between work and personal are especially felt by parents who work hybrid and remotely. Furthermore, challenges include difficulties for new employees in adapting to company culture and the loss of interpersonal relationships when working remotely. This is due to the lack of direct interaction which makes employee development and orientation more extra. The final challenge is the loss of innovation and collaboration that generally occurs in face-to-face meetings in the office, as well as technical obstacles for employees who have no experience in working remotely.

To overcome these challenges, management managers need to change their leadership to implement practices that develop employees' social and emotional awareness, regardless of their location. Employee social and emotional awareness is important to develop when working remotely, to ensure team cohesion and a sense of belonging to the organization. Then the support of informal networks and relationships is also needed to overcome the loss of informal learning that occurs when working remotely. When developing technology, it is best to consider not only the expansion requirements, but also the social impact to ensure effective and conducive working conditions.
