The presence in the room was warmly welcomed, and participants from Sterling University attended in significant numbers. Dr. Nisrin Alyani, better known as Dr. Denise, was presented as the keynote speaker for this event.
Before starting the presentation, the agenda for the day was clearly explained. The event started with a presentation by Dr. Cedia Anwar and would be followed by a Q&A session. Afterward, there was a group photo session. All participants are expected to feel comfortable during this event.
Dr. Denise started her presentation by ensuring that the participants could see her presentation slides. After making sure everything went smoothly, she proceeded to explain the purpose of the day's presentation.
In her presentation, Dr. Denise wanted to discuss how ideas can be turned into reality in the context of social co-creation. She explained that people often have ideas about the products or services they use. However, how these ideas can be used or developed by companies or brands is often a big question.
He described that co-creation is about collaboration and an inclusive process that involves various parties, including customers, consumers, companies, brands, engineers, designers and other individuals. All these people together create ideas, strive to solve problems, and create value.
Ideas come from different backgrounds, experiences, communications, and perspectives. These ideas then become the basis of co-creation, where people work together to take those ideas and turn them into tangible products or services. Co-creation is about enabling the active participation of a variety of people with different views and expertise.
In addition, Dr. Denise also discussed some key characteristics of social co-creation, including collaboration, diverse parties involved, and problem solving. Collaboration is key in co-creation, both in the form of physical collaboration in face-to-face meetings and through social media platforms.
In co-creation, a diverse range of parties involved is essential as each individual has a unique perspective that can help in generating better ideas. Moreover, co-creation is about solving problems and improving products or services through the contributions of various stakeholders.
Further in her presentation, Dr. Denise will explain the benefits of social co-creation and how the co-creation process can be navigated successfully. We will continue this coverage in the next installment.
