    STEKOM University continues to carry out various online international activities although various offline academic activities have gradually started to be implemented. One of them is the International Webinar held by STEKOM University on Friday, August 19, 2022. The title of the event is "Get to Know the Beauty of Diverse Cultures between Countries" which is divided into two sessions.

    This International Webinar also invites experts from various countries. Some of them are:

    1. Prof. Gina Garchia Walter of the Autonomous University of Baja California-Mexico.

    2. Natalia Venherska PhD from Zaporizhzhia National University-Ukraine

    3. Ni Xiaobo from Wuxi Vocational Institute of Commerce-China

    4. Getachew Gashew from Debre Tabor University-Ethiopia

    5. Ahmad Zaenuri, M.Si from STEKOM University-Indonesia

    This event also received support from Dr. Joseph Teguh Santoso as Chancellor of STEKOM University and Dato Siow Chen Pin as Chief Advisor of ICCCM Malaysia who had a very good reception at the beginning of the event. The event was moderated by Anggi Novita Sri as staff of the international cooperation department at STEKOM University and also Nicole as staff from ICCCM Malaysia.

    The purpose of this event was held so that we can understand the various cultures that exist in this world. The professors and lecturers who participated in this presentation gave very clear and interesting explanations about the beauty and diversity of cultures that exist in a country. The explanations of the presenters raised participants' awareness that culture is a heritage that exists in every country and makes each country have its own characteristics.

    Culture is also one of the supporting economic factors in a country that contributes a lot in giving a role to the country's foreign exchange such as foreign tourists visiting or vacationing in a country. This reason can be a reason for us to appreciate and care for the culture and customs that have existed since time immemorial.
