Event Dates: 22, 24, 25, 26 November 2021 (Monday, Wednesday,
Thursday, Friday)
Place: Zoom Meeting
Time :
14.00 - 16.00
The political situation of a country
does not interfere with academic activities. STEKOM University
institutionally does not take sides in a political conflict of a
country. This is in line with the political stance of the Indonesian
state which states that it is free and active. Evidence of this is
the holding of educational cooperation between STEKOM University and
a university from Ukraine.
STEKOM University cooperates
with Zaporizhzhia National University in Ukraine. The collaboration
is a Lecturer Exchange which is held online with the Zoom Meeting
media. This event is held for four days, Monday to Friday from 22 -
26 November 2021 at 14.00 Western Indonesian Time.
The
opening ceremony was attended by Dr. Joseph Teguh Santoso as
Chancellor of STEKOM University and also Mr. Ahmad Zaenuri as Head of
the Entrepreneurship Department of STEKOM University to give remarks.
A speech was also delivered by Mr. Wibi Ardi Alvianto to give
hospitality. As for this event, Mrs. Anggi Novita Sari as
International Affairs from STEKOM University.
There
were 3 (three) speakers in this event. The first day we presented
speakers from the Business Faculty, namely 1. Damir Bikulov who is a
Doctor of Public Administration and a professor. In his lecture, he
presented the topic "Transformation of Export Flows in the
Context of the Global Food Crisis". The material presented was
very deep and crucial, especially in the midst of the Ukrainian
political situation at that time. However, the presenters remained
professional and objective in their delivery so that the impression
of being provocative and political could still be avoided.
On the second and third days of this collaboration event, we
presented speakers from the Faculty of Engineering, namely 2. Serhi
Chopperov as a Doctor in Engineering Science as well as a Professor.
The topic he presented was “Neural Networks in Mechanica†which
was delivered on Wednesday and continued on Thursday with the topic
“R-Functions in Geometric Modelingâ€. Both materials were
presented very clearly, both conceptually and practically.
Participants felt enlightened and had a lot of new knowledge after
participating in the activity.
The last day (Friday) we
also presented speakers from the Faculty of Engineering, namely 3.
Serhi Korinnyi (PhD in Economics, Associate Professor) with the topic
"Ukrainian Railway Engineering Company Transformation Amid
Transport Infrastructure Reform". The material and delivery is
very interesting and clear. The explanations and examples presented
in this presentation give participants a real picture of the company
transformation process that is being carried out amid the
infrastructure reforms being carried out in the country.
Each
lecturer delivered the material for four hours and continued with a
question and answer session with all students and all attendees. In
the session, all the lecturers who gave the material looked very
enthusiastic, both the lecturers and the participants. The question
and answer session always seems to be a session that is always
awaited every day.
