The first day of the webinar with the title Culture Exchange: "Let's Get to Know Each Other's Countries" Universitas STEKOM which was held on September 21, 2022 went very well. Many participants attended the webinar online. The enthusiasm was clearly seen from the many participants who attended.
This event was hosted by two STEKOM University students, namely Anggi Novita Sari (Student of STEKOM University - Business Department) and Azka Nahya Amanta (Student of STEKOM University - Information System Department). At the beginning of the event, the Chancellor of STEKOM University, Dr. Joseph Teguh Santoso (Rector of STEKOM University), gave a warm welcome to all participants and presenters. His speech was also very inspiring and motivating to all the participants.
Presenter from
Malaysia, Nathaniel, presented traditional Malaysian food. The
appearance of the food served is very tempting and the presenter
tries to make sure that it tastes very good. He also convinced
foreign participants who were Muslim not to doubt the Malaysian
cuisine presented. Because the culinary food displayed is guaranteed
halal. The names of the foods presented are Laksa Sarawak, Kolo Mee,
kompia, tomato koay teow, koay chap, spicy porridge, midih, manok
pansuh, tamarind eggplant, and others. The visualization and
narration delivered by the presenter succeeded in making the
participants want to taste it and want to come to
Maalysia.
Presenter from Bulgaria showing exotic places in
Bulgaria. Among them is the cathedral church of St. Francis Xavier.
The photos and explanations presented about the cathedral church are
very beautiful and exotic. Next is the fraternal church of Saint
Nicholas in the Russian-Byzantine style. The culinary foods that were
presented included drochena, vereschaka, kulaga, and others. They
also display the exoticism of nature, both flora, fauna, and
geography. The nature photos displayed are amazing.
The
presentation on Indonesia was presented by Rajeshveri who is a
student of STEKOM University. The presentation on Indonesia featured
traditional dances such as the Kecak, Betawi Mask Dance, and others.
Indonesian culinary foods were also presented in this session. There
are martabak, satay, fried rice, warehouse, and others. Everything
looks delicious and makes you hungry.
