AI-assisted simulation in education is the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in educational simulations to enhance the learning experience and provide personalized feedback to students. These simulations can cover a wide range of subjects and disciplines, from science and engineering to health and business.

Here are some examples of AI-assisted simulation in education:

    - Virtual Labs: AI-based simulations can replicate real-world laboratory environments, allowing students to perform experiments and practice scientific procedures in a virtual setting. These simulations can provide interactive experiences, realistic scenarios, and direct feedback on student performance.

    - Medical Simulation: AI-powered medical simulators are used to train healthcare professionals. Simulation can simulate surgical procedures, interactions with patients, and medical emergencies. AI algorithms can monitor and assess students' actions, providing real-time feedback and guidance to improve their decision-making skills and abilities.

    - Flight Simulation: Flight simulators equipped with AI capabilities can provide pilots with a realistic flight training experience. This simulation replicates aircraft controls, weather conditions and various flight scenarios. AI algorithms can analyze pilot performance, identify areas for improvement and provide feedback for training purposes.

    - Business Simulation: AI-assisted business simulations are used to teach students about strategic decision-making, financial analysis and entrepreneurship. Simulation can simulate market conditions, competition, and business scenarios. AI algorithms can provide insights, analyze results and offer recommendations based on student decisions.

    - Language Learning Simulation: AI-powered simulation can create an immersive language learning environment. These simulations can include virtual conversations with AI characters, interactive language exercises, and real-time language assessment. AI algorithms can tailor learning experiences based on student progress, provide targeted feedback and personalized learning paths.

The integration of AI into educational simulations has the potential to enhance learning by providing realistic, interactive and personalized experiences. These simulations can encourage critical thinking, problem solving skills, and allow repeated practice in a safe environment. In addition, AI algorithms can analyze the large amount of data collected during simulations, allowing educators to gain insight into student performance and adapt teaching as needed.

The above material was delivered by a presenter from Ukraine in an international visiting lecturer held by STEKOM University in collaboration with Universities from Ukraine. The presenter's name is Oleksii Panasenko. He is a Lecturer at Vinnitsia State Pedagogical University (Ukraine), Ph.D. in Mathematics. He is also a data scientist at NestLogic Inc. His interest in science is in mathematics: fractal analysis. Meanwhile, his interest in teaching is working with mathematically gifted pupils; mathematical olympiads. In addition he has an interest in all things related to machine learning, data science, AI. The time for the visiting lecture to be held is on May 12 2023 with initial remarks by Dr. Joseph Teguh Santoso who is the Chancellor of STEKOM University and guided by Mrs. Novita.

This international webinar activity is part of the implementation of STEKOM University's commitment to increase various international activities. This was done in order to realize the vision to become an international-class university. Various international activities carried out by STEKOM University continue from year to year. There are international activities that are sustainable and there are also some international activities that are not sustainable. All types of international activities are accommodated and regulated by the International department of STEKOM University.
